Admissions are open to all courses in accordance with the laid down criteria by the State Government / Kumaun University, Nainital.
Fee Structure
Fees will be payable according to the norms laid down by the State Govt. from time to time.
Discipline
It is compulsory for each and every student to attend all lectures, tutorials and practical. While stipulating 100% attendance, the institute makes provision for a minimum 75% attendance to become eligible to appear at the Sessional tests and End Semester theory and practical's examinations.
Any student absenting for two consecutive lectures/tutorials/practical sessions in any one or more subjects will be debarred from attending subsequent lectures/ tutorials/ practical or any other academic / co-curricular activity. To be entitled to attend again, a student, accompanied by his / her parents, has to meet and obtain written permission from the HOD/ Director.
Any student remaining absent for more than 7 days without prior written permission of the HOD/Director is liable to be removed from the institute and his /her name may be struck off the rolls.
Every student must compulsorily appear in all the tests, complete all assignments, including tutorials and project work etc., given by faculty within the time period specified. Student should bear in mind that internal assessment marks are partly based on their performance in these tests.
Evaluation of performance in tests, tutorials, assignments and projects work as well as attendance record shall be made by faculty for the purpose of award of continuous and sessional marks. Such marks awarded by the faculty would be final and binding and no complaints in this regard shall be entertained.
Late entry into and mid/early departure from classroom, lab, etc. are strictly prohibited.
All students must be inside the lecture halls/ laboratories during lecture hours and lab sessions. Roaming in the corridors, the cafeteria or staying back in hostel rooms or any other part of the campus during lectures / tutorials / practical amount to serious violation of academic code of conduct. On compliance may result in disciplinary action.
Students are required to carry with them their I- cards at all times.
Students must wear the institute uniforms to be entitled to enter the academic premises.
Mobiles phones and other electronic gadgets must be switched off in academic domains during any curricular. Co-curricular or extra- curricular activities.
Eatables, tea, coffee, soft drinks or any such items cannot be consumed during academic engagement and in academic space including classrooms, labs library corridors, staircases and the like.
Student must maintain normal decency and observe guidelines and rules of the academic institution.
Wishing greeting the Chairman, the Director, Deans, Head of the Departments, faculty members, the Registrar, the librarian, other officers of the institutions with due respect for them.
Be courteous and polite in dealing with all staff and employees.
Silence and / or speaking in a soft voice in and around the library, laboratories, offices of the Director, the Deans, senior office faculty rooms and corridors of academic buildings.
It must be noted that shouting, talking in a loud voice or in choice using indecent, abusive and discourteous language anywhere within the institution premises are considered serious acts of indiscipline and shall invite panel action.

Student must wear the prescribed uniform within the campus.
